How we handle corrections

Accuracy matters, and readers can help us catch mistakes. If you believe an article has a factual error, contact us with the article link, the specific passage and any supporting source or document. We review the concern against available records and reliable reporting, and may follow up for clarification.

When we confirm a material error, we correct the article promptly. Significant changes are identified on the article with a dated note describing what changed. Minor spelling or formatting fixes that do not affect meaning may be corrected without a separate note.

When evidence is incomplete or accounts conflict, we aim to preserve clear attribution and explain what is known, what is disputed and what we could not independently verify. We do not present an allegation as an established fact.
